A total of 158 young investigators and medical trainees who submitted highly rated abstracts received Young Investigator travel stipends, and 123 scientists from developing countries who also submitted abstracts received Reach-the-World travel stipends to attend ISTH 2015. Together, these grantees represent 36 countries.

Travel stipends are awarded to applicants in recognition of their research achievements and contributions, to further the expanded educational format of ISTH meetings and congresses, and to enable the participation of scientist from all areas of the world.
